1 3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup water
1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
8 cups water
- In a small saucepan combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring sugar to dissolve. Allow to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to use.
- In a pitcher combine lemon juice, 8 cups water and chilled sugar syrup. Stir to combine. Serve chilled.
